Mindnumbing Facts
Date: January 17, 2004
Duration: 3 pm ~ 3:45 pm
Weather: Sunny, bright, cold.

This park is located about 14 miles west of Faribault. I spoke with the park ranger for a spell, a nice chap who provided some helpful information.

Although it was sunny, it was cold. The wind really kicked up off the lake, making it seem even colder.

Another interesting occurance, As the wind was blowing through the trees, the smaller trees would waver back and forth, while the larger trees remained more motionless. This also created a curious sound. Since I was the only person there, I was able to enjoy it while I was shooting.

Shoot info: 1 roll of B&W film, Tmax 100. Manual Hasselblad w/ 50 mm lens.

There was some nice light filtering through the trees, and as you can tell,
the wind creeated some nice "snow dunes" as it blew past this point.

Here is a nice shot of the aforementioned light filtering through the trees.

I like the patterns on this one.
By now I was getting pretty cold, so I decided to pack it in.
